Biography
 
Erin Turner, a born-and-raised Alaskan, has been immersed in music from a young age, starting piano at four and violin at six. Her early talent was recognized with awards in concerto and composition competitions.

By eleven, Erin was performing with the Anchorage Civic Orchestra, a role she continued for many years. She began accompanying at ten and by sixteen was teaching piano and playing at events. Erin holds degrees in both biology and music from UAA, following her time at Interlochen Arts Academy.

Today, Erin’s music career is vibrant and diverse. She accompanies events across Anchorage, including vocal and instrumental competitions, theatre productions, private recitals, and school functions. She also provides solo and background music for weddings and other private events and has collaborated with the Anchorage Bowl Chamber Orchestra. A highlight of her career was performing for ACT’s production of Ordinary Days. As the Music Director at the Alaska Center for Spiritual Living, Erin’s role extends beyond performance. She also balances her musical pursuits with a role at Active Health Solutions. In her free time, Erin enjoys Alaska’s outdoors through hiking, camping, and rock climbing.
